Ingredients
Step 1 — For the stir-fry
- 1 block extra-firm tofu (pressed and cut into cubes)
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- ¼ red onion (chopped)
- 1 tbsp oil
Step 2 — For the sauce
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
Step 3 — Serve
- Cooked rice or noodles
Instructions

Brown the tofu
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add tofu and cook until golden on all sides, turning as needed.

Cook the vegetables
Add broccoli and red onion to the pan. Cook 4–5 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.

Finish with sauce
Whisk soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and water in a small bowl. Pour into the pan and toss everything to coat. Cook 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and turns glossy.

Serve hot over rice or noodles.
