Chicken Broccoli Alfredo

Ingredients
Step 1 — Cook the pasta and broccoli
- 12 oz fettuccine
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- Salted water (for boiling)
Step 2 — Cook the chicken
- 1 lb chicken breast (sliced thin)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Step 3 — Make the Alfredo sauce
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp nutmeg

Cook the pasta and broccoli
Cook fettuccine according to package directions. In the last 3 minutes, add broccoli florets to the boiling water. Drain together and set aside.

Cook the chicken
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and slice.

Make the Alfredo sauce
In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream and simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in Parmesan until smooth. Add pasta, broccoli, and chicken. Toss to coat.
