Ingredients
Step 1 — Fish and sauce
- 1.5 lbs hake or cod fillets
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves (sliced)
- ½ cup dry white wine
- 1 cup fish stock
- 1 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
- 2 tbsp flour
- Salt

Make sauce
Cook garlic in oil until golden. Stir in flour, then wine and stock. Simmer 5 minutes.

Cook fish
Season fish and nestle into sauce. Cover and cook gently 10–12 minutes until flaky.

Finish
Stir in parsley. Serve fish in deep plates with plenty of sauce and bread.
