Ingredients
Step 1 — Season the ribs
- 1 rack baby back pork ribs (about 2–2.5 lbs)
- Salt
- Black pepper
- BBQ rub (store-bought or homemade)
Step 2 — Finish and serve
- Heavy-duty aluminum foil
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- 1
Season the ribs
Preheat oven to 325°F. Pat ribs dry and remove the silver skin from the bone side if present. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and BBQ rub, pressing the rub into the meat.
- 2
Wrap and slow-bake
Wrap the ribs tightly in heavy-duty foil, bone-side down, creating a sealed packet. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 325°F for 1 hour 45 minutes until tender.
- 3
Glaze and finish
Carefully unwrap the ribs and discard the foil. Brush both sides generously with BBQ sauce. Increase oven temperature to 425°F and bake uncovered 25 minutes, brushing with more sauce halfway through, until the sauce is sticky and caramelized.

Serve
Let rest 5 minutes, then slice between the bones and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
