Turkey Chili
Hearty turkey chili packed with beans and bold spices. Great for meal prep and even better the next day.

Ingredients
Step 1 — Brown the turkey
- 1.5 lbs ground turkey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 green bell pepper (diced)
Step 2 — Build the chili
- 2 cans (15 oz each) kidney beans (drained)
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
Step 3 — Toppings
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Sour cream
- Green onions
- Jalapeño slices

Brown the turkey
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add onion and pepper, cook 3–4 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Add ground turkey and cook, breaking it up, until browned.

Build the chili
Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and cayenne. Add crushed tomatoes, beans, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 25–30 minutes.

Serve
Ladle chili into bowls and top with cheese, sour cream, green onions, and jalapeño.
